Mission Statement
The mission of the Calaveras Unified School District is to partner with its families and communities in order to graduate all students as engaged, responsible and skilled citizens enabling them to achieve personal success.
Goals:
Our district affirms that education is a partnership of parents/guardians, staff, student and the community. We further affirm that the purposes of education are to:
1. Encourage personal excellence for all students and staff.
2. Achieve high academic standards is a safe school environment.
3. Make informed, moral, ethical, and responsible decisions.
Calaveras Unified School District has a student population of 2,691.
Currently, there are 5 elementary schools, one middle school, one comprehensive high school, plus an independent K-12 learning center program.
The District has approximately 334 employees.
