The CUSD Board of Education at its last meeting approved an amended the school calendar for the 2025-2026 school year. Many of the changes to the calendar are to encourage and improve student attendance. The highlights of the amendments are as follows:
• Thanksgiving Week shall be an entire week off from school - Monday, November 24 - Friday, November 28, 2025
• Frog Jump Holidays will have the benefit of adding an additional three days which should allow students who have responsibilities for the County Fair to NOT miss school - May 23-27, 2026
• Site Bell Schedules will be posted next week, please check your child’s school for start times. Each elementary school site will have a new bell schedule consistent throughout the week; the only minimum days will be for parent conferences.
